Waumbaland test
Waumba Land (often styled “WaumbaLand”) is a Christian preschool ministry environment created for children from about 6 weeks old through pre‑K, originally developed by North Point Ministries and now used in many partner churches.[1][6][9] ## Meaning and purpose - The name comes from “Waumba,” a Swahili word meaning “Creator,” so “WaumbaLand” is “Land of the Creator,” emphasizing God as Creator.[9] - The environment is designed to help preschoolers learn that God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever, using age‑appropriate Bible stories, songs, and activities.[3][6] ## Typical experience for kids - Programming usually happens during Sunday services in dedicated preschool rooms, with lots of music, crafts, and simple Bible lessons tailored by age group (babies, toddlers, older preschoolers).[6][1] - Churches provide separate check‑in, secure drop‑off/pickup, and trained volunteers so parents can attend the main service while kids experience Waumba Land.[7][6] ## Content and resources - Waumba Land produces preschool‑friendly Bible story videos, worship songs, and activity ideas that many churches reuse or stream at home.[2][6] - There is also music released under North Point Kids/northpointmusic, including playlists labeled “Waumba Land” on platforms like Spotify for preschool worship songs.[8][2] ## Where it’s available - Waumba Land is offered at North Point–affiliated campuses (e.g., North Point Community Church, Buckhead Church, Woodstock City Church) and at partner or licensed churches in other cities.[10][1][6][7] - Many of these churches publish schedules and details (ages served, service times, registration) on their own Waumba Land pages so parents can see what’s offered locally.[6][7][10] If you share what you want to do with Waumba Land (take your kids, use the curriculum, or find music), more specific links or steps can be suggested.
